Sandra Jovanović was born on 11th of October, 1978, in Belgrade. She graduated the art of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, 2004, as a student of her professor, Mr. Kosta Bunjuševac. During her studies, she had exhibited on certain group exhibitions in the gallery “Cvijeta Zuzorić”(Belgrade 2004), the gallery “Andrićev Venac” (Belgrade 2003), the gallery “Diplomatski klub” (Belgrade 2004), the gallery “Atrijum” (Kotor 2004). At the exhibition named “The Contemporary Painters of Serbia and Montenegro”-the gallery “Dalas” (Belgrade 2005), the painting of Sandra Jovanović “Budjenje”(‘Awekening”), from the serial “ The Slavic Mythology” was chosen, in the selection, as the work of the representative of the youngest generation, and was exhibited together with the works of the most famous artists of Serbia and Montenegro during the period from 1930-2005. Her independent exhibitions are: the gallery “Taš” (Belgrade 2004), the gallery “Radionica duše” (Belgrade 2005). |
